I started Pilates Success over 12 years ago with a vision to help my clients move better, feel stronger, and reconnect with themselves through mindful movement. Since then, I’ve had the honour of supporting hundreds of clients , mostly women on their health and wellbeing journeys—right here in the heart of Peregian Beach.

Ever since, I’ve been able to create a supportive space for healing and transformation, including some truly rewarding things like:

  • Running empowering women’s retreats and community events

  • Delivering trauma-informed self-defense and Qigong classes

  • Building a reputation for genuine, hands-on care that truly changes lives

  • Introducing healing Yoga practices to the local community

My Journey to Empowerment

My journey toward a holistic and empowered lifestyle has been one of self-discovery and growth. From a young age, I’ve been committed to exploring ways to better myself, heal, and evolve. This passion naturally led me to coaching, where I found immense joy in sharing transformative tools with others.

Pilates, Yoga, and Qigong have been pivotal in my healing—both physically and emotionally. These practices are gentle yet powerful, helping me reconnect with my body and nurture my well-being. They’ve transformed my life, and I know they can do the same for you. With a lifelong love of sports and fitness, teaching felt inevitable.

After over a decade of practicing Yoga, Pilates, and Qigong, I became a certified Pilates instructor, coach, and trainer. This allowed me to combine my love for physical movement with my dedication to personal growth.

The Life That Made Me Sick, Then Strong

My journey hasn’t been without challenges. At 16, a serious car accident left me bedridden for weeks with a fractured spine, followed by chronic back pain that lingered for years. By my late 20s, burnout from a high-pressure corporate career led to anxiety and depression. In my mid-40s, a serious illness left me bedridden once again, and I turned to holistic methods for healing.

Conventional treatments often fell short, but I found hope in practices like naturopathy, Chinese medicine, yoga, and Pilates. These tools helped me rebuild my strength, alleviate my chronic pain, and reignite my passion for life. Pilates, in particular, was a turning point — it not only improved my physical health but also gave me the confidence to embrace a brighter future.

Hi, I’m the Real Sandra

Let’s keep it real: I’m not just a coach, trainer, or instructor—Hands down my most important roles in life are as a mother, grandmother, and wife. My family includes a husband, two wonderful children, two beautiful grandkids, and our fur baby Mojo. I juggle my time between running a Pilates studio, managing my online business from home, and occasionally struggling with time management (just like everyone else!).

I’m passionate about helping women over 40 embrace their strength, find their joy, and live vibrant, empowered lives. I believe in thinking and living outside the box, breaking free from the constraints of stress, pain, and burnout.

Over 15 Years of Experience in Holistic Health & Movement Sandra combines Pilates, Yoga, Qigong, and Empowerment Self-Defense, and mind-body coaching to help her clients move better, feel stronger, and live with purpose.

Known for her warm, personal approach Sandra builds real relationships with her clients—offering hands-on support, personalised programs, and a nurturing, empowering environment.

Specialist in women’s Health Over 40, with lived experience and a deep understanding, Sandra supports women navigating menopause, injuries, stress, and life transitions through mindful, safe, and transformative movement.
